Most patients with sciatica do not need an immediate MRI.
You may need one if you have severe leg pain, numbness, weakness, symptoms lasting longer than 6–8 weeks, or if your symptoms suggest a slipped disc or nerve root compression. I can arrange a same-week MRI when appropriate.

Tingling, numbness or shooting pain down the arm often comes from cervical radiculopathy — a trapped nerve in the neck. Most back pain is not serious and settles with simple treatment.
However, if you have leg weakness, numbness, difficulty walking, loss of bladder or bowel control, weight loss or unrelenting night pain, you should be assessed urgently. I offer same-week appointments for all patients with red-flag symptoms.

Yes. I specialise in minimally invasive procedures including microdiscectomy, cervical disc replacement, nerve root decompression and targeted spinal injections. These techniques reduce recovery time, minimise scarring and help patients return to normal activity faster.

I perform X-ray guided Facet joint injection at The Princess Grace Hospital and The London Clinic. These injections reduce inflammation around the facets and improve the range of movement of the neck. For Cervial Nerve root injections, I refer them to a radiologist for accurate CT guided injections.
