You do not need a referral to see him. Mr Rajesh will arrange to see you directly. He also sees patients referred by your GP, insurance company or any other healthcare professionals.

Insurance companies should cover the cost of spine surgery as long as a doctor determines it is medically necessary and the patient has completed the conservative care requirements set by their specific insurance.

However it’s always good to check with your insurance provider’s online account. Log onto your online account through your insurance company, and look for a link to your plan’s Summary of Benefits and Coverage, sometimes called an SBC. This is a standard document that all plans are required to have. It lists the services the plan covers.

It would be most helpful if you can have these documents ready. However, Mr. Rajesh will see you even if these are not available.
