I am privileged to work with Dr Gerard Hall at the Princess Grace Hospital, Marylebone, London, UK. Dr Hall is involved in the weekly Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meeting on Tuesdays at the Princess Grace Hospital. This is a meeting attended by London’s leading Consultant Spine Surgeons, Consultant Radiologists, Pain Specialists and Physiotherapists to discuss the management of Complex Back pain and Neck pain problems.


Dr Gerard Hall qualified from the Middlesex Hospital Medical School in 1982. He had advanced training in Rheumatology and Internal medicine at St Bartholomew’s and St Thomas’s Hospitals. He became a Consultant in 1996 and held posts at St Peter’s Hospital, Chertsey and then at The Royal London Hospital.


Dr Hall is the leading Consultant Rheumatologist in London with 25 years’ experience in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. He has carried out research in osteoporosis and metabolic bone disorders at the Hospital Edouard Herriot in Lyon, France. He has published several papers relating to osteoporosis and the effects of hormones on arthritis including back and neck pain.

His private practice locations are at 30 Devonshire St in Marylebone, The Lister Hospital in Chelsea and The Broadgate Spine and Joint Clinic in the City, near Liverpool St.

He has admitting rights to The Princess Grace and The Lister Hospitals.


He is a member of the British Society of Rheumatology, the National Osteoporosis Society, the Royal Society of Medicine and the Chelsea Clinical Society. He is listed in The Tatler’s review of top private doctors.
